Close and Concealed

When it comes to self defense there are more than enough knives to choose from. Karambits, boot knives, bladed tactical pens and quick release belts knives are all good examples and each has their own strengths and weaknesses. But the defensive knife Atlanta Cutlery would like to highlight is, the neck knife. A neck knife is usually a simple fixed blade, suspended from the neck via lanyard in a sheath that smoothly deploys the knife. Easily concealed under the shirt (hopefully with permit) where it can be quickly accessed, a sharp pull frees the knife and has you armed. Some neck knives are made more for confrontation than others with serrated edges or push dagger grips. Outside of defense these knives can also make great working tools. Made for one handed use, when your knife is suspended around your neck it's also hard to lose. Whatever need you have a neck knife can be a reliable and ready tool.
